KAALO is significantly expanding its school feeding program to support children and adolescents across the Nugal Region. This crucial initiative provides daily, nutritious, and balanced meals directly within schools, tackling critical issues like child hunger and poor educational outcomes.
The program is built on four core pillars. First, it focuses on enhancing nutrition by guaranteeing access to safe and healthy food. Second, it aims to improve education by demonstrating a clear link between reliable meals, increased school attendance, and active participation in learning. Third, KAALO promotes healthy practices by seamlessly integrating comprehensive nutrition education into the school curriculum and community outreach.
Finally, the program prioritizes strong community engagement, actively involving parents, educators, and local leaders. Ultimately, this comprehensive effort ensures that every child in the Nugal Region is given the essential opportunity to grow healthy, learn effectively, and thrive within their community. πππ±
