#Garowe: KAALO in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior has commenced ISA training for duty bearers, including state and local government officials, as well as consortium partnersโ staff in Puntland.
This training is designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of local and state government authorities on inclusive social accountability practices, ensuring that they are better equipped to respond to community needs and foster trust between citizens and institutions.
Inclusive accountability is especially critical for Puntlandโs local governments as it promotes transparency, encourages citizen participation in decision-making, and improves the delivery of essential public services. By building this capacity, the training contributes to the sustainability and effectiveness of local governance and supports the successful implementation of Puntlandโs decentralized agenda.
